If

Long ago , once upon a time
in rhythm singing hymn
three horseman in the night
rode to a destination bright

they rode till they approached a river bed
when in the darkness , an unknown voice said
"Halt" . to this they obeyed
and none to his command did forbade

he commanded from horses to descend
and asked the triumvirs to bend
pick pebbles from the ground,in pockets keep
in horses ascend and to their courses leap

they did as instructeed, they did as said
and waited for more, from the voice from river bed

with handful pebbles in pockets their job ended
the voices said" you have done as I commanded.
Tomorrow you at sunrise, you will be glad and sorry"
Astonished, the horsemen rode on with little worry

the sun arose,in pockets their hand went
seeing a miracle, they miraculously didnt faint
to precious gems, the pebbles had transformed
diamonds,sapphires,emeralds: all had gems formed

The warning of the voice they remembered
"Both glad and sorry" thinking they lingered
Glad because a handful gems they now owned
sorry because they had not taken enough stone

Enough's fullfillment makes life wilt
to have pond instead of sea, always remains a guilt.
